The InnThe 1890’s Lucien Marcy House is one of Fairfield’s grander buildings. Originally built by a wealthy industrialist, its filled with fine detailing, most of which has been preserved. The living areas are trimmed with the original butternut wood detailing, stained glass panels, and sliding panel doors with the original hardware. Tall ceilings and fine proportioned rooms lend an elegant backdrop for high end furnishings: Persian carpets, crystal chandeliers, fine European wallpapers and original art. The Mainstay B&B is a green hotel with a chemical-free environment. |
